The magic of Cinnamon:

 

A gem from Dr Ripich’s book is his enthusiastic endorsement of the use of cinnamon.  According to him:
” This common spice is mother nature’s glucose reducer. Eat a little every day to lower your blood sugar, improve insulin sensitivity, and reduce inflammation.”
Add as little as one-half teaspoon into your morning coffee or sprinkle it onto your breakfast cereal to “spice up your day”.

Begin with the end in mind…

  • We should always begin with the end in mind. By that I mean what is our desired outcome from any day’s activity?

    Daily progress is what we should strive for because it makes us feel alive and fulfilled.

    We must do everything possible to always be at our best. And it starts with the pillars of health and there are six:

  • To me it is quite simple, and that is to have energy to be sharp & focused in order to be able to get stuff done, accomplish your goals.

  • Nutrition

  • Sleep

  • Hydration

  • Exercise

  • Stress Reduction

  • Supplementation

And probably in that order of importance…..

Success Hack

A practice that I have observed that is used by many successful people is that they JOURNAL every day. Journaling is a way of helping to get things done and of keeping track of your progress 
in striving toward your dreams, your goals and objectives, capturing your most precious thoughts, and much more.
The simple act of writing down your thoughts, your goals, your ideas becomes something magical.
I have been journaling off and on for many years now and I believe it is one of the reasons
that I have surprised myself with what can be accomplished.
I don’t necessarily understand how it works the way it does but I can say for sure that it really does work.<

Recently, I have started using Dean Graziosi’s journal and system, The Better Life Journal.
